I retired from the British Armed Forces in 2018 after serving 26 exemplary years being awarded a Meritorious Service Medal from the Queen in 2019. Just like many people, I needed a bit more space than I currently had in my home but I didn't want to have to move to get it. So I looked for a garden room but was disappointed by the high prices and the low quality in relation to those prices. There was nothing out there that quite fitted my ideas and budget just right. So, I decided the best way to get exactly what I wanted was to build my own using my 26 years worth of project management skills and building experience. As it turns out, I really enjoyed it and was looking for a new career so why not start my own business offering affordable, bespoke and quality garden rooms making them more affordable for everyone.

Keep it simple is my motto, genuine prices up front and direct communication with the business at all times, ensures your needs are met and quality assured. Many ask how I can offer such quality at reasonable prices as it may seem too good to be true. The simple reason is that due to being a small operation I do not have the overheads that other suppliers have, therefore I am able to keep operation costs to a minimum and pass on the savings to the customer.

Design and place an order
Agree a timetable and price. Pay 1/3 of build cost deposit, usual time frame is 6-8 weeks from initial order.
Communication
Communication is key, I will be available to make any changes to the build up to 5 weeks for the room and answer any questions you may have.
Eco-Base installation and Garden Room
Eco-Base
No need for massive excavation of your garden followed by annoying skips on your front door. Your Eco-Base which requires no digging or mess will be installed approx 1 week prior to main build, A 40% instalment needs to be paid at this point.
Garden Room Build
On the 6 -7 week the main Garden room will be constructed and will be fully finished externally.
Interior and Finish
On the final week of construction I will work on the interior, this is an important phase and where your garden room will be finished to the specification agreed. On completion and the final day you are asked to pay the remaining 50%.
The design, build and financial aspects of the process have been kept simple to ensure the process is as stress free and as transparent as possible making your experience a pleasant one.
Materials
All materials are ordered bespoke for the build, they are not held in warehouses or old stock as some companies do, this means that your build only uses the most recently cut wood and undamaged insulation.
Eco-Base
The Eco-base is an outstanding way in which to house your garden room. Individually designed and built to fit your garden room, Its unique use of steel screws which are fully galvanised that go over 1m into the earth gives flexibility in soft or hard ground and are also great for sloping gardens. It is also environmentally friendly, no excavation is required therefore, not effecting your local environment and also keeps costs low.
C24 Pressure Treated Wood
All timber used within the construction both externally and internally is C24, whilst more expensive this gives you the reassurance that only the best materials are used giving you the peace of mind that your build will stand the test of time. All materials are ordered bespoke from reputable suppliers such as Jewsons and not held as stock.
Insulation
Recticel or Kingspan is used to insulate the whole room utilising 70mm in the Ceiling and Walls and 25mm under your laminate flooring. No cheap alternatives are used Recticel/kingspan keeps your room damp free and warm in the winter whilst keeping it cooler in the summer due to its reflective qualities. Another feature of Recticel when combined with plaster board is that it is an outstanding sound barrier which makes your room feel like a solid build.

Door Handles
As standard all door handles will be similar to the picture, however should you have a preference these can be changed.
Electrical fittings
All light switches and plug sockets with USBs are in chome, however these can be changed to suit. Electrics are fitted by a fully qualified electrician and comes with certification.
Outside lighting and colour scheme
Standard outside lighting are solar sensor lights as to save the planet, however should you want full electrics this can be accommodated. A full range of Cuprinol colour schemes are available, the garden room will receive 2 coats of your choice.
